The name bayberry is the most beautiful one I could think of when I think of this incense. It has a rich, deep golden hue that is perfect for adding a bit of fragrance to any room. I find the scent works well in the kitchen too.
The scent of bayberry is so strong that it is hard to control the amount of it that is inhaled. Just be sure to use a bit less than what you normally would.
But the strong scent of bayberry is not what makes bayberry incense so good. It is the beautiful color and the beautiful scent that makes it work as well as it does.
And that’s where bayberry really shines. Bayberry is a rare spice that is grown in the United States and is used in baking and perfumery. It is one of the most expensive berry incense available.

Bayberry is available in two forms, whole berry and berry extract. Berry extract is generally used to extract the bayberry. Whole berry is extracted by using a mortar and pestle and then extracting the seed using a grinder. The berry extract is then added to the incense.
There are many other berry incenses you can buy that would be better suited to the bayberry extract form. Many are more expensive than the bayberry extract, but bayberry incense is the purest and most intense one available, making it ideal for those who want to be able to fully use their incense without smudging or other side effects.
Incense is very popular in the Himalayan foothills of Northern India and Nepal, where it is used to purify the air after a yagya or yajna ritual. However, this is the first time I have heard of bayberry incense, so I can’t personally vouch for it’s quality. It may very well be more expensive than other berry incenses.
