We’ve been thinking about this a lot. I thought about it a lot because my backyard garden was such an amazing place to work and work, and the people I met there were nice and helpful. I thought about how many people I’ve met there have visited or have seen or heard about these things.
You could get all of us living on the same page of some kind, and then we’d still be able to get together in one place, but we’d still have to learn about it and learn how to share it. It’s like the world is just a giant book where we’re all in a book.
Actually, that’s a pretty good metaphor. All of our gardens are like books with pages. People visit them for a reason, to learn and grow. But the book can be read, and read, and read, and still be the same book. That’s why books are so amazing.

I was really impressed by the book and I’d like to spend a lot more time reading it. The way it addresses the internet is very interesting, and the concept is so simple it’s kind of hard to see how it could be improved. To me, it sounds like it’s a book with a lot of great ideas, but the execution is terrible. I would hate to be one of the people who wrote and published that.
I’m not the only one who feels that way. Many people who have been reading for longer than I have agree; the book is a mess. It is far too cluttered with a lot of great ideas, but no good execution. It doesn’t seem to be working in the same way my friends and I do, so it’s hard for me to tell which is which.
The book is a collection of many essays written by different people, all of which have their own unique agendas, styles, and ideas. But at the end of the day, most of them seem to be about the same thing: how to make a garden more magical. And it would be great if its writers got together and took inspiration from how we all do gardens. But I think its a case of having too many ideas with the wrong execution.
The thing I love about gardening is that we don’t have to do it by ourselves. The gardeners on our block have been helping each other out for years. I like that about gardening, and I think if we can take some commonality from the gardeners, we can make the entire hobby better.
